New York Linguistics Academy
New York Linguistics Academy was founded in 2024 by Müge Yılmaz, an English teacher and graduate of English Linguistics. It provides online language education and study abroad consultancy.
Our teaching staff are graduates of leading Turkish universities including Boğaziçi, METU, Marmara, Hacettepe, Istanbul, Ankara, Mersin and Bilkent. We also offer lessons with native English speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Our aim is not simply to teach a language, but to give every student a rigorous, high-quality and sustainable learning experience.

A single lesson lasts 40 minutes. Depending on the course model we offer 40, 60 or 80-minute options. An 80-minute session runs as 40 minutes of teaching + a 10-minute break + 40 minutes of teaching.
We decide together how many days a week you study, based on how intensive your programme is. Our recommendation is a steady schedule of two days a week with two lessons each day.
In our English programmes one level consists of 50 lessons. In other languages an intensive option of 40 lessons per level is available.
One-to-one lessons are taught individually, while group lessons run with at least three students. The model is chosen according to the student's level and goals.
Teachers are assigned by our academic team, taking into account the student's level, goals, schedule and learning needs — so that each student is matched with the most suitable teacher.
Depending on your level and learning goals, you can study with native teachers at B2, C1 and C2.
Yes. Once your registration is complete you may begin at any date that suits your schedule, within one year.
Before you begin we determine your current level of English through our free placement process, then build the programme that best fits your results and goals.
Depending on your programme you can use absence, make-up and freeze rights. The detailed terms are shared with you at registration.
